A door-open warning can identify a particular door or appear as a general vehicle symbol. It may indicate that a latch is not fully engaged. Stop safely before checking; do not try to reclose a door while the vehicle is moving.
Check for objects interfering with normal closure and make sure the door secures properly. If it will not latch, do not continue driving or bypass the warning switch.
